Welcome to our site!
We are pleased that you have come to check us out! We hope to be a valuable resource as you sing to praise our God! Perhaps you are joining us because you have heard our radio program. Our 5-minute Adoration SongBook program is heard weekly on various Christian radio stations.
We want our site to be a resource to you, as worship leaders, as musicians, as people who love the Lord and want to praise Him. Our site is divided into 3 sections:
Find Songs and Hymns where you can find much information about a hymn. Read a devotional, learn about how the hymn came to be written, read about the composer. We offer an Mp3 or Real Audio of the hymn so that you can download it and play it often to include it in your daily worship. You can also hear our radio program, or download the sheet music.
Music and Worship gives resources for singing. We offer essays on why we sing and the importance and use of song in worship. In Billy's questions, we answer questions of one who is not used to singing hymns in church. We also offer singing lessons online.
About us gives information about the Center for Church Music and the Adoration SongBook. Here, too, is information about Kid's Choir Camp, which the Center for Church Music is sponsoring with Seventh Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
