Eleanor Henrietta Hull versified Mary E. Bryne's translation of "Be Thou My Vision" in 1912. The poem was included in her book Poem Book of the Gael. Hull was born in 1860 in Manchester, England. She was the founder and secretary of the Irish Text Society, and served as the president of the Irish Literary Society in London. She also authored several books on Irish history and literature.
